Calling all dog wa*kers.

Winds me up every time a see someone walking their dog on a lead.
Let them off on the fields and have a run,they enjoy it so much more.

I always wonder who the morons are who pick up their dogs faeces, put it in a dogshit bag, tie it up, then fling it in the nearest hedge.

My Dog (Golder Retriever) was mauled by two Staffies in a private parkland. All Dogs were off the lead. When I complained to the Old Bill, after numerous vets visits, we were told that because all Dogs were Off the lead, that none were under control of their owners and no fault could be distributed.
Unless you have direct control over your Animal you are deemed to have no control regardless of how obedient your Dog is.
Keeping your Dog off the lead especially in public opens you up to all sorts of legal issues.
Ours stays on a lead all the time now...

I've been dog sitting at my brothers for 2 weeks, ends today. I'm going to miss the little fucker :(

I let me Staffie off if there are no dogs around, as soon as one comes into sight he goes back on the lead. What pisses me off is when you get dogs off the lead running up to yours and the owner doesn't seem to care despite the fact that mine is trying to get at it.

Mr Kenzo if you have an aggressive dog you should muzzle it. Don't expect other dog owners to have to deal with it.

K-Dog... thing is dogs are sociable animals... it's all about sniffing the butts... they will come over to investigate as it's in dogs nature... couple round our way got a couple of German Shepp's that whenever they see my hound or any other (this is on lead) they go fucking beserk... both are muzzled and rightly so... shame ... probably never been introduced... reckon 15 mins in the company of my black dude they would be sniffing butt cracksgalore and embracing doggy life

When I was walking my brothers pooch Sold0 we went past a German Shepp. It went mad but then so did George. I'm not sure what he was playing at as he'd have been ripped apart. I didn't fancy my chances against the SHepp's owner either,. Poor form from George I thought so I gave him a pep talk to sort it.
